Heal your body and Rise. You will be asked to fill out a medical intake form. On your first visit, we will discuss any concerns or questions you may have.
After a quick assessment, we will set a catered treatment focusing on your area of concern. After your first session, you and I will have a better understanding on what areas we need to treat and focus on.
You may feel some tenderness and soreness after your massage. This is a part of the healing process. Your body will readjust to the release of scar tissue and muscle adhesion. Using various myofascial techniques, I will focus on increasing your joint mobility and flexibility.
Home care will be discussed after your treatment. Although you may feel some relaxation during your medical massage, these techniques will help prepare the muscles and joints for specific treatments to use for various conditions or ailments. Keep in mind, additional knowledge and training on kinesiology, anatomy, and physiology are usually needed by the practitioner. Your visits will depend on the progress of your treatments.
As we work on removal of scar tissue and increase joint mobility, your body will learn to adapt to these changes as well as restoring muscle health and recovery.
