The Executive Director is also responsible for overseeing the organizations sub-contract services, along with campus and facilities management. The incumbent will also provide leadership to a functional team; manage fundraising, grant applications and is responsible for all compliance, supporting a large operational budget.
The incumbent will leverage resources and continue development of a strategic plan with board support to maintain and grow annual our signature fundraising event. The incumbent will also seek other innovative fundraising and revenue growth opportunities to continue to diversify funding. Working closely with the functional team and the Board of Directors, the Executive Director will lead community engagement, communications, and build both internal and external relations with community partners to further strengthen the position of the LCGC in becoming a community leader in driving funding, gifts, and volunteer activation.
Strong focus on driving diversity, inclusion, employment marketing, and managing media communications to strengthen and highlight the organizations values. Working with the officers of the Board of Directors to maintain a focus on board development and expansion of programs. The position is highly self-directed and allows for broad discretion in how to best organize daily, weekly, monthly, and annual cadences for workflow.
This position oversees both paid and volunteer staff and engagement, empowerment and recognition is a key driver of success. Salaried Exempt — Non-Contract with a Management Incentive Plan for reaching or exceeding mutually agreed upon performance and value based targets set by the board and strategic plan alignment. Environmental Job Requirements Offices located in a comfortable indoor area. Some of the activities are outside the office in engaging and busy areas, and will require a focus on safety, the ability to be flexible, to lift occasionally and you may be working for short periods in warm, dusty, and loud conditions.
