Stayed here on a weekend break with my husband. The rooms were newly renovated and immaculately clean with free wifi. Breakfast is very good, and a great location in the town centre. Book "Hotel Bristol" Now. I stayed one night at this hotell. The rooms was nice and clean but the restaurant was terrible. The menu indicated fine dining, and we orderd a 3 course menu with redvine in hope to have a nice evening. They forgot several of our orders, served us ice cold red wine and bad tasting drinks. We could not even drink our pina colada, and that should be a pretty standard drink.
I have never experienced so bad service and food at a restaurant before, and the whole evening was comical. The food in the restaurant was fantastic! The staff were excellent and very attentive. We would recommend to anybody travelling and visiting the area.
There is a good choice of wine. Valerie was our waitress and she did a wonderful job. We hope to visit again soon. Not sure what people expect for their money these days but overall we had a good stay. Sunloungers available. We had great fun with the kids. We stayed when it was 30degrees with only 1 small fan. I had the burger and my partner had the steak. My burger was tasteless. Again, not great quality for the price. Moral of the story here - try and eat before you arrive or check out the local Italian restaurants nearby.
All in all the main thing that let it down for me was the main meal, not good quality and overpriced. We were disappointed from the second we drove up to this dilapidated hotel with its retro not at all in a good way exterior and a huge heap of rubbish looking like a bonfire in-waiting in the carpark.
