The owners have retained the original machinery employed to produce olive oil from two water wheels, one of which is located under the Mill in a network of subterranean water tunnels. The original stone walls and wooden beams are still apparent in each of the 3 bedrooms and 2 apartments giving a romantically authentic feel throughout.
The rooms are all very spacious with king size beds, flat screen TV's, tea making facilities and south west facing views onto the small Chapel and access to the pool. The 2 duplex apartments can sleep 3 or 4 people in 2 bedrooms. Each apartment has a fully equipped kitchen inc.
Tools and machinery from back in the day is still in its place. We wanted to buy this place immediately instead of just staying there for a few days! We definitely come back when in the area. It was very comfortable for our two night stay. We loved that the property is located just outside of Grasse, away from the hustle and traffic, but still close enough to visit the town centre.
Very friendly hosts, the rooms and the whole atmosphere were just perfect to make our holiday magical. A must to stay there! Worth knowing Rental period is Saturday-Saturday during high season.
