Brandon Carr , Digital Content Producer. Three men from Cincinnati, Ohio, who are accused in the Jan. The three men were charged in the death of year-old Sam Simko of Commerce Township. All three men were extradited from Cincinnatti and returned to Pontiac Tuesdy night. Creasy, Brown and Prophett were each charged with felony murder and armed robbery. Prophett was also charged with using a firearm in the commission of a felony and possession of firearm by a prohibited person.
Detectives believe Prophett fired the fatal shots. Creasy is alleged to have arranged a meeting with Simko at his business in the block of University Drive in Pontiac. The arrangement is believed to have been a trick to rob Simko and the business. Simko was ultimately shot twice. Creasy and Brown were arrested on Jan. The men are scheduled to appear in court on Feb. If convicted, the felony murder charge carries mandatory life in prison without parole.
