The gym, which has French doors that open into an outdoor space, is equipped with a variety of cardio and strength training equipment that can meet individual requirements, including rehabilitation, improving cardiovascular fitness , and building muscle mass. The treatment room has a relaxing view of the countryside from a large, Victorian window. These dedicated spaces mean that my work with you is , without the stress and distractions of a public gym.
You can achieve your goals in privacy, at the pace that is right for you. Max is great! He is helping me build strength and improve my stamina in the gym. I also see him for sports massage, which enables me to manage pain very effectively and supports recovery from exercise. He also has a great sense of humour, and knows just when to push me to do more.
Over several months attending personal training sessions with Max, I have massively gained in confidence after starting as a nervous gym beginner. He is non-judgmental, patient and understanding, but is also very encouraging and able to recognise where I can push out of my comfort zone to make progress. He always takes the time to ensure I'm happy with the exercises, answering my questions or suggesting modifications. The private gym is a great environment and the training sessions are always varied and enjoyable.
I'm so pleased with the progress I have made so far and look forward to continuing. Had my first massage with Max yesterday. Max is informative and followed up with texted images of some stretching exercises, which will be really useful. Max was pretty firm with the massage as I have very stiff legs and lower back: but it felt like things had been released somewhat by his treatment.
