The Cork side took the lead after 20 minutes and extended their advantage to by the minute mark. Just before halftime, Ralph Kerry powered over for a well-earned try to bring the score to Strong winds made the conversion attempt difficult, and Rockwell went into the break knowing they were still in the fight.
Bandon came out firing in the second half, scoring an early unconverted try to push the score to Rockwell fought hard, but with injuries disrupting momentum, Bandon capitalised with two more tries, sealing the result. The team was backed by incredible support from teachers, students, and the wider Rockwell College community, creating a fantastic atmosphere in Fethard.
