Jan 07 19 am Link. If they make a little money more power to them. I shoot professionally and although I'm not rich I did well enough to not begrudge a twenty year old from making a few dollars. Most of these models don't make a lot but I do like seeing the effort. It's fine with me as well I will offer to shoot for it so that those photos are exclusive to that site..

Maybe it's just me, but if you are offering models pictures of themselves, they should be able to do as they please with them. You have to "ask nicely" to use a photo that you shot for free? I've always assumed these would be used for sites such as Model Mayhem but recently I've found a number of models have been using the images on sites such as Only Fans and other pay to view sites where the model gets money for selling memberships.
I know that once an image is out there you have no control over where they go but it seems a little unfair that a model should profit from your materials with no realistic comeback.
I'd be interested to hear others thoughts on this. That's why if it's trade, I give them some edited images for them to use, if I pay them, all of their pictures looks like money. They don't get any images just for the reasons you've run into. It's nothing personal against them or any model I've worked with, it's just why should they make money off of something that was. Thats why in my trade models release I have a clause in there that if either of us sells them, we cut the other person in for 50 percent.
Split it down the middle, nobody gets more than the other. Gotta remember, this is business, not a friendship. Do your business fairly and ethically, but don't cut yourself short either.
