A veteran in the field of PR, Kathy Beiser has proven year after year that she has the intellect, intuition and bold direction required to succeed in the industry.
Lilly creates medicines by pioneering discoveries utilizing chemistry, biotechnology, and genetic medicines, rendering even the most difficult diseases manageable. In her time at Lilly, Beiser has seen important and pivotal changes to the company.
She helped to shape the global corporate communications team, reorganizing and refining to create a more agile force better equipped to handle challenges. No stranger to the comms discipline, she oversees several responsibilities including, public relations, media relations, issues management, internal communications and executive communications. Whenever issues or complexities arise, she manages them efficiently and keenly, due to her focus on learning about areas of the business outside communications.
If you follow her career journey, it will be clear why. As a matter of fact, she was busy getting her doctorate at Columbia University in political science and Chinese studies, as she thought it would serve her well in a career in government. But, fate stepped in. The rest, as they say, is history. Or, history in the making.
