To celebrate the beginning of Fall , I decided to pamper myself with a Spa day in Zurich. The Dolder Grand Spa is a great option, thanks to its prime location and huge facilities. I already had the chance to stay at the luxurious Dolder Grand in the past. The Spa is located on the basement, but it still offers outstanding Zurich Lake views as well as surrounding mountains.
The beautiful dedicated terrace even proposes two outdoor basins one cold, one hot and a heated jacuzzi. I arrived early at the Dolder Grand Spa. Check-in was smooth, an Assistant explained me all facilities through a Spa tour and reminded me the due times for my treatments.
I received slippers and bathrobe before heading to men locker room. I started the journey with my daily cardio and weight training. It is composed of a hammam, sauna, two jacuzzis and a cold water basin. Complimentary tea and healthy delicacies are available in this area. I quickly showered, changed again and went to the Ground floor to have lunch at the Lobby. Contrary to Saltz restaurant, the Lobby menu is quite casual and international.
I stayed in an healthy mood, so I took a few peanuts and ordered a Ceasar Salad with chicken. Homemade of course with slices of grilled chicken, it was really good and light.
After lunch I went back to the Spa to go swimming in the large indoor pool. This mixed area also features a snow room! There are only a few sun loungers available inside, but fortunately it was sunny that day so I could enjoy the Spa terrace. This terrace is a true gem. You can plunge into the jacuzzi, chill, admire the view and do a bit of sunbathing.
