For years, anonymous callers made claims of being sexually harassed at the Statesboro business. These calls were finally put to a stop with what officers said was a sting operation. There, the officer asks for an employee the department had previously investigated. Officers charged the employee, Jiaxiang Li, 59, with performing a sexual act for money. The owner, Chunying Hou, 59, was charged with keeping a place of prostitution.
WTOC did reach out to the owners of the business for comment, with no response. The City Council came to an agreement to suspend their licenses temporarily as the case unfolds in court.
