My name is Veronica Carranza and I'm excited to meet you! I believe the best therapeutic relationship is collaborative, built on trust and empathy. I strive to promote independence, and a functional life for all clients in order to reach full potential.
I am also dedicated to creating a safe space for you to express your feelings and be heard. Throughout the process, we work together as you identify your strengths and resources for personal growth and healing. Specifically, I am passionate about helping you build your self-esteem, work through anxiety and stress, set appropriate boundaries, and gain self-awareness and acceptance.
I also recently completed specialized training to treat sleep problems CBT for Insomnia. I offer virtual counseling sessions, as well as in office. After undergrad, I earned my Master of Education in Counseling and completed my internship at Our Lady of the Lake University where I gained experience in working with children, adolescents and young adults.
