Stayed here for 3 nights in a double room cus all single rooms were booked. This is the cheapest hotel I could find but overall experience is good and will stay here again next time.
Location is 5 mins walk from Central station, 20 mins walk to the city center, there are some more hotels within the city center area, but given Paderborn is small, everything is within walking distance, location is not really a concern. Room was clean except the washroom did smell a bit funny as mentioned in the reviews here. Hair dryer can be rented at Euro10 deposit at the reception. My room was at the back facing the train station, was a bit noisy as also mentioned in other reviews, but I am not a light sleeper, so it was OK for me.
WiFi worked well in the room. It was still a good value for money option. This hotel has a good staff. They are friendly, well trained, and efficient.
The hotel is clean and new, and well priced. However, the bed was small, and I only had 1 pillow. They should have put a bigger, and better bed, with more pillows. Otherwise, the hotel would have been near perfect.
And breakfast was very affordable. Excellent hotel, close to the city center walking distance. Modern and new building; large rooms with good bed mattress a bit soft though , flat screen television 24 channels, only 2 in English, rest in German , sitting corner, safe. Large and well equipped bathroom with shower.
