The Wellness Center, supported by APICIL, was established to offer our students free, confidential, preventive healthcare, promote healthy lifestyles and provide healthcare through medical consultations. Available on each of our French campuses, it is staffed by a multidisciplinary team comprising several nurses, an occupational health doctor, a psychologist, a disability expert and a coordinator of prevention initiatives and well-being workshops.
In addition to the psychologist, available to all students either face-to-face or remotely, two helplines are provided free of charge:. Nurses are available to students from all campuses, either face-to-face or remotely, with or without an appointment.
A general practitioner holds consultations on the Lyon campus one half-day per week. This doctor is tasked with caring for and monitoring students with medical or psychological problems , previously identified by the nurses, as well as students with disabilities. The medical-social team works closely with the disability unit , in particular to draw up special needs plans for students with disabilities.
Actions to promote health and prevention are proposed throughout the academic year. Resources, workshops, talks and discussion groups jointly run with health partners are organized, mainly on addiction, sexuality and disability.
Hence our anti-slavery policy is shared with and available to all our employees on our Intranet. This is particularly reflected in the creation of a protocol and the online reporting platform : speakup. This is available to the entire emlyon community students, participants, employees and teaching staff.
