Svetlana Yevgenivna formerly Milkovich and Fisher , was a main character of Shameless. Svetlana first appears when Terry Milkovich hires her to forcibly engage with his son, Mickey Milkovich , after catching Mickey with Ian Gallagher.
She later becomes pregnant, allegedly with Mickey's child, leading to their marriage. After Mickey's incarceration, Svetlana divorces him and marries Veronica Fisher to avoid deportation. This arrangement evolves into a polyamorous relationship with Veronica and her husband, Kevin Ball. Known for her resourcefulness and sharp wit, Svetlana becomes involved in various business ventures, including working at and eventually co-owning The Alibi Room.
Her complex character development includes manipulative actions, such as tricking Kevin and Veronica into signing over the bar to her. Svetlana's storyline concludes when she marries Rupert , an older wealthy man, after her relationship with Kevin and Veronica ends. She is living in the Milkovich house. Annoyed at how little money she makes, Mickey makes an ill-conceived attempt to force her employer Sasha to pay her and the other prostitutes more money by orchestrating a strike in Strangers on a Train and There's The Rub.
This fails when Sasha simply replaces the women, leaving Mickey stuck with a bunch of angry, unemployed hookers. Terry is scornful when Mickey laments the situation, observing that he was wrong in thinking that Svetlana was worth more than she was already getting paid based on his personal experience, indicating that he has had sex with her himself.
