To develop this document literature searches were conducted using several research databases. EPA notes that the occurrence data compiled in this document and the current national estimate of disinfectants and DBF occurrence reflects existing data. Substantial additional information that will be used to strengthen an estimate of national occurrence of disinfectants and DBF is currently being collected under the Information Collection Rule ICR.
