Short CV: Dagmar Eichberger Following on from her studies in art history, history and archeology at the University of Heidelberg M.
For five years, she was in charge of the Postgraduate Diploma in Art Curatorial Studies at Melbourne University. This enabled her to build up close contacts with colleagues at Australian and European museums and gave her the opportunity to get involved in several international exhibition projects.
Supported by a three-year grant by the Australian Research Council and a two-year grant by the German Research Council she analyzed the former art collection of Archduchess Margaret of Austria. In she was appointed apl. Professor at Heidelberg University. Research projects, conferences and fixed-term appointments lead her back to Melbourne repeatedly.
In addition, she taught at the universities of Jena, Konstanz, Trier, Giessen and Paris. From to , she held a position as research coordinator in the EU Projekt ARTIFEX Prof.
Tacke and taught courses at the University of Trier. She has now returned to her Alma Mater and has reestablished her permanent base in Heidelberg. In , the city of Mechelen appointed her research coordinator and curator for the exhibition project Women of Distinction.
