During his time in Narcotics, Quinn helped Anton Briggs out of a drug bust in exchange for making him his personal CI. However, unknown to Anton, Quinn never made it official. After Quinn's neglect contributed to the death of another partner, Detective Stewart , Yuki tried to bring him down in Season Three.
