The treatment team develops an individualized treatment plan designed to meet the specific needs of each adult through strengths-based assessment and intervention. Treatment may include medication management, family participation, group and individual therapy and education. Individuals are actively encouraged to participate in their treatment with a focus on symptom management, utilization of coping skills and clear discharge planning. Staff work closely with community providers to enhance recovery and community reintegration.
The Northern Idaho Crisis Center is a non-profit community organization, created to help people who are having a mental health crisis or a drug or alcohol problem. Staff members care for those that come to the center and help facilitate outside resources before each person leaves. The center is free, safe, private, and voluntary.
