In our family restaurant we serve delicious and affordable hot and cold snacks, meals and drinks! Miniworld Rotterdam has been designed in a way that it can also be an experience to people that are less agile. The attraction has no doorsteps, so that wheelchair- and scootmobile users can move unimpeded. The width of the entrance, exit and footpaths are optimized for this where possible. A special elevator was installed to make the cellar with smaller layout, minicinema and toilets accessible.
In the design of the miniature world we took in account wheelchair- and scoormobile users. For this and other reasons we have put the basicframe of the miniature world on a maximum height of 85 cm. The guard rail along the miniature world with a height of cm is so designed to give wheelchair users a nice viewpoint on the miniature world just over the guard rail. It is best to use P1 of the Groot Handelsgebouw, because it has an elevator.
