Preface and Acknowledgements This narrative recounts a day nautical mile circumnavigation of Newfoundland in the summer of on the foot sailing vessel Rejoice! It is presented in the hope that it will kindle warm memories for those who participated in the trip, and will afford others an opportunity to share in the experience. Everyone who took part in the voyage contributed to this chronicle in one way or another.
