This article blessed me pastor. This great story outlines what the Lord will do through His people when they are properly equipped and encouraged by their church. Your article articulates the strategy we gradually developed since I first came to the Islands in - a foreigner in a very religious nation where God was badly mis-represented, wondering how I could possible make any difference! I started working one-on-one with local people mostly young, and usually rejected in the community who then started reaching their own communities for Jesus one-on-one, and also by sharing their personal journeys of discovery through community Christian radio stations we established.
Over time we now have many home fellowship Bible studies in villages, and these groups are bringing renewal to the mostly traditional and non-biblical local churches. And this strategy for helping fruitful disciples use radio, is spreading to other nations in the region.
What your ladies are doing is wonderful. To me it seems so obvious - and so simple and fruitful, because Christ promises to do His great work through us.
What an adventure it is for His 'ordinary' people to be serving Jesus this way! How can so much of the church manage to miss this?
