Billy loved sports such as football, basketball, track, fishing and his most favorite golf. He played varsity football starting his sophomore year where he was fullback in the wishbone offensive formation, Trinity made it in the playoffs most every year, but could not get passed Odessa Permium.
Following his highschool football career he attended Tarleton State University in with most of his highschool teammates, where they won two NAIA National Championships. Throughout his career with football he greatly appreciated the families, coaches, and teachers that helped and supported him along his way.
Especially the Bradshaw and Parker families, with their welcoming arms they shaped the man that Billy became. He proudly wore the 42 alongside his football brothers.
Billy was larger than life. Billy started as a cart pusher and eventually worked his way up to Assistant Store Manager at one of the largest Walmart Supercenters in Arlington, TX. This is where he met the love of his life and eternal companion Carol. The two married on March 24, Golf was his way of life and very dear to him alongside his family and friends. Billy loved his sons, along with the addition of his daughter-in-laws, Nicole Needham in November of and Catelyn Long in March of Billy always wanted a daughter, but he came to realize that boys were his destiny.
Billy always lended a helping hand, no matter what he had going on in his personal life, he was always available and willing to help those in need.
