Sua Kim is a Fine Artist whose creative practice is inspired by her lived experiences. As a painter, she uses color to create the expressive visual language she blends with abstract forms to capture the essence of her journey living in Los Angeles as an international student.
Troi Boyer is a motion graphics designer based in Los Angeles, CA with a strong interest in character design and experiential projects. Her work combines illustration and storytelling to convey vibrant, eccentric stories through visual media. Our BFA in Game and Entertainment program provides education in industry-standard pipelines for creating visual representations of characters, environments, and props for games and films.
I have worked on 2 games in partnership with USC iterating environment and prop designs, as well as working on key frames and color keys. My greatest strengths are being able to communicate efficiently, iterate concepts effectively, and being able to illustrate in a multitude of styles.
Our Illustration program explores personal style cultivation in multiple contexts for the image-making and communication needs of a variety of industries. I utilize a range of mixed medias such as digital art, sculpting and 3D-printing. I have heavy interest in mascot and toy design. Our BFA in Fashion Design program offers a structured curriculum led by hands-on professional mentors embracing technology and innovation in fashion design.
I thrive in environments where innovation and experimentation are encouraged and I love to explore new concepts. My diverse background has served me well in cultivating fashion design.
