This is the most informal of blog posts, but something I get asked about quite a bit, which is date night! If you're interested in seeing their KCRW menus or making reservations, click here! This lists rounds out just about every spot I could think of in KC, with the help of your additions! I've separated the list into dinner and drinks! Some fall under both categories. Anything in italics is somewhere we've been!
Farina - incredible food, atmosphere, and the espresso martini is a top 3 in KC. Rockhill - a longtime favorite of ours and always first on my list of date night suggestions, everything is great! Tom's Town - I haven't had enough of their food to give you clear cut advice, but I prefer TT for drinks! Tannin - another top 3 espresso martini contender, and their fudge stuffed pb cookie will change your life.
Il centro - this is a diamond in the rough; cozy romantic, ridiculously good food - the pesto tortellini is my last meal on earth - we've take all our friends here!
Zocalo - not the biggest fan of their food, but their margs are fantastic and we love happy hour on the patio! Cooper's Hawk - iykyk, start your night with a wine tasting, then order the gnocchi carbonara, drink the Super Tuscan; if you're ending your night here, sit at the bar and get the almond champs. Garozzos - not my favorite vibe, but the chicken spiedini is kc famous. Bamboo Pennys - think of it as the best chinese takeout, but make it date night; great cocktails too!
North - great, great date night spot; romantic vibe, great Italian food, incredible cocktail menu. Gram and Dun - Taylor would tell you it's maybe a little over priced, but there's something for everyone and the patio is fabulous; D Cup is my fave cocktail.
