Assistance programs for families, children and adults are paid for using state and federal funds and may be available to those who meet the eligibility requirements of each program. Certain professionals are required by law to report concerns of abuse and neglect of children and at-risk adults.
Care and Share Food Bank provides food and food boxes to partner agencies across Southern Colorado who distribute the the food to those in need. The Colorado Low-income Energy Assistance Program LEAP is a federally funded program that helps eligible hard-working Colorado families, seniors and individuals pay a portion of their winter home heating costs.
