Bernard M. Hagan passed away on October 16th in one of his favorite spots in the world, his recliner. He was born on July 29th, , in St.
He married Sandra Simonds on Valentines Day in - a date he choose so he would never forget it. They built their family home in Lunenburg, and later moved to North Concord where Bernie spent much of his time doing home improvement projects and tackling his seemingly never-ending honey-do list. Throughout his life, Bernie worked a number of different jobs - he was a man who had to work with his hands. He worked for the State of Vermont with the Agency of Transportation for 25 years and soon after retirement found a love for working with his oldest son making chocolates at Burke Mountain Confectionery.
Bernie was predeceased by his parents and two sisters, Theresa and Susan. He is also survived by his lifelong best friend, Bill Sargent.
A celebration of life will be held at the St. J on October 25, , at 2 PM. A short service will be followed by light refreshments and of course the bar will be open.
