Galina Kadlec is the secondary antagonist of the Criminal Minds episode "Rule 34". She is a dominatrix who pays serial killer Emmanuel Rask to murder her ex-husband. She was portrayed by Izabella Miko. Galina is a Polish immigrant who makes her living running and performing in a series of pornographic websites on the dark web, specializing in BDSM and violent fetishes such as "crushing", the act of stepping on and killing small animals with a stiletto heel.
She has been charged several times with violating federal and state obscenity laws, but she has never been convicted. Her most profitable venture was the website "Xannudu", in which her customers would pay to post their own violent content, including bestiality, to go with hers. When her husband, Byron Maddock, left her, however, he took half of everything she owned, which effectively bankrupted her and forced her to close the website.
Desiring revenge, she reached out to one of her most loyal clients, serial killer Emmanuel Rask , and offered to pay him to torture and kill Maddock, and to let her livestream the murder. They arrest her for attempted murder and interrogate her to find out where they can find Rask.
Lewis and Simmons disdain her pornography as nothing but sadism in order to rile her up into letting something slip, but she remains coolly defiant, defending her videos as par for the course in a world in which "if something exists, there is pornography of it". When BAU Supervisory Agent David Rossi then takes over the interrogation, Kadlec is excited, as she is a fan of his true crime books about serial killers.
