Escorts across the country are taking to the public platform offered by Twitter to offer their services as they move from town to town.
The woman are often tweeting on generic hashtags for cities in a bid to target customers in those locations - but could be exposing the public to explicit material. But several profiles belonging to escorts who specialise in extreme sexual acts also share graphic pictures, videos and descriptions of the services they offer.
The profiles, which were all publicly available when seen by the Daily Record , shared the tweets with no sensitive content warnings. One user calls herself Jessica Le Bond and says she worked in Dundee before moving to England at the end of last year. Another, who uses the name Mistress Real and visited Edinburgh in December, shared explicit images of extreme sexual practices relating to sadomasochism.
