So has anyone done anything similar or recommend somewhere to leave the car for a week. Paying for secure parking is not an issue. Location Midlands. It is not the answer to the question you are asking - I live around 30miles north of where I assume you would be starting - If Im taking the Harwich boat on a Friday night I leave home just before 6pm - I can get to the port with 2hrs to spare by train - bit of a faff - to Euston easy - a short ride to Liverpool street - find lift that is working - train to port - kill time in the station no point in hanging around on draughty port side for too long.

I'm sure there will be long term parking there. ANT Trying to re member. Location N. Did the same thing a few years ago as it was cheaper to take the car than just the bikes don't ask why. I left the car at Den Haag youth hostel where we stayed fist night, they had no problems with leaving it.
