Our Patient Companionship program allows volunteers the chance to build relationships with our patients at a very vulnerable stage in their life.

We Honor Veterans is a program designed to empower veteran patients and their families during their time with us.
Our veteran volunteers and staff provide a pinning ceremony acknowledging these heroes. We believe it's never too late to show gratitude and honor these men and women for their time and sacrifice while serving our country.
As THBR grows, so does our love for furry friends. Our Pet Peace of Mind Program was created to give our patients the comfort of knowing their pets will be cared for during and after their time with us. This program is for individuals with a love for animals and compassion for those no longer capable of caring for them. Volunteering a t our Butterfly wing with our inpatient staff is one of the most rewarding ways a person can serve at THBR.
We encourage anyone interested in service and direct patient care to checkout our Butterfly Wing Program! Research into the use of music in hospice and palliative care has consistently found that patients, family and staff all benefit from music, and often after only one session.
