Incident Number: Narrative: The Dover Police Department has arrested Tamir Glover, 20, and a year-old male, both of Philadelphia, following a pursuit involving a stolen vehicle.
The investigation began at a. The Officer was aware that the vehicle had been reported stolen earlier in the evening, and confirmed through the communications center, that this was the stolen vehicle. A traffic stop was initiated in the area of North Governors Avenue and William Street and the vehicle failed to stop. While on a curved portion of the roadway, entering Route 1, the vehicle exited the roadway, struck a guardrail, and eventually struck a tree, coming to a stop.
Both suspects were taken into custody without incident and were identified as Glover, who was the passenger, and a year-old male, who was the driver.
No injuries were reported as a result of the collision. Both suspects were transported to Dover Police Department where they were processed and arraigned.
Narrative: The Dover Police Department is investigating a shooting that left a home damaged early Wednesday morning. Officers responded and observed damage to a residence. The ensuing investigation revealed that an unknown suspect fired multiple shots at the residence and left in an unknown direction. The home was occupied by two people at the time, and both were unharmed as a result of this incident. There are no additional leads to provide at this time.
