This is a thermal spa located in the city of Locarno , in the canton of Ticino , Switzerland. It is situated within a 10 minute walk from the heart of the city, right on the shore of Lake Maggiore, and offers a range of wellness and relaxation treatments and services. This is something we were mostly interested in during our spa day visit. It is a popular destination for both locals and tourists looking to relax and unwind in a beautiful and peaceful setting. During our own visit, the restaurant was very busy, but all looked delicious. It was for a body wrap with clay rhassoul , a private room with jacuzzi hot tub and then lastly a body oil massage.
This was a little package deal that they had advertised on their website, so we booked directly with them.
They had many times available throughout the day, but we picked an afternoon session so that we could also enjoy their included aperitif with prosecco! Total duration around 2. You can follow their latest deals and highlights on their website and social media. So we started the session directly with the clay rhassoul. This was already relaxing and lovely. You also have the option to include lavender oil or rosemary oil to the clay for different skin treatment. This was super relaxing to start with, followed by some refreshing water or tea that you can drink.
After this we were shown to the private room with jacuzzi hot tub. This was really enjoyable since you can sit in the warm bubbly water while looking directly out to the lake! For our visit there was still snow at the tops of the local mountains in the distance too, so we were relaxing with the lake and mountain view.
