Contemporary is also proud to be the home of the most extensive Adult Dance Program in Dallas, TX offering over 40 classes per week. Contemporary has five state of the art studios equipped with Marley and sprung-wood floors. All teaching methods are geared towards injury-free training.
Our instructors encourage all dancers to broaden their artistic horizons and realize their creative potential. Children excel in all aspects of life when we cultivate their interest in the arts.
Whether their desire is to become a performer or a patron, we seek to educate children in the art of dance, physically and mentally, instilling an appreciation of the art form for years to come. It is never too late to start dancing β and that is why Contemporary Ballet Dallas offers several adult dance and fitness classes from the beginner to the professional.
Whatever your skill level, we are sure to have the perfect class for you! We offer master classes of different techniques with guest teachers throughout the year. The selection process for these ensembles is by teacher recommendation or audition, which is held at the end of the prior school year.

In , Lindsay DiGiuseppe opened the school in Lakewood with a goal of establishing a dance school of the highest caliber, offering various techniques, and in a positive environment to shape dancers as dancers AND as individuals. The School relocated to Mockingbird Lane at the end of and is beginning the 19th season.
