The pool, gem locator, and lake are nice as well! Great stay for families, everyone is very friendly and helpful at checkin.
June 29, - reviewed by Rich D. I stayed here as a single overnight stop. I stayed in Site A long pull through site that was very close to level. The site, the concrete pad for the table and available connections were adequate. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Now the bad. There was no cable connection that I could find. However the local channels via my antennae were adequate. The wi-fi was non-existent! Since site 11 is literally 20 feet from the office, I would expect a better connection.
I am probably the exception whereas when I overnight, I do NOT disconnect my truck or take advantage of full hookups, so my review may be skewed a bit. I DO however usually take full advantage of the internet and wireless connections. Nice gated entry. Campground seemed well kept. Fresh flowers potted. In the office were met with an unfriendly voice asking our name.
I told her. In the uncomfortable silence as she looked up our info asked how she was doing today to which she advised "just so-so, just so-so. Most campers there appeared to be there on a semi- permanent basis as there was a double row of mailboxes at the entrance.
The pool remained closed the day we were there, not sure if it was because of the predicted storm, but even when that was passed with no such storm, remained closed. Ok for an over night, though a bit over priced considering no sewer hook up. Would have been irritated if the pool remained closed for no reason.
