Lauderhill, Fla. CBS12 — An officer with the Lauderhill Police Department is accused of trying to coerce a homeless woman into performing a sexual act, according to our news partners at the Sun-Sentinel, and officials believe there may be more victims. Officer Jamar Lee, 28, was charged after a nearly two-year investigation into his encounter with the victim. The police report says the victim was a woman in a Saturn parked outside a closed Dunkin Donuts off of N.
State Road 7. The alleged incident happened after 3 a. State Road 7 so he could consult with other officers, says the article. The woman complied, but when they arrived, no one else was there, the report states. The report goes on to say Lee complimented the woman on her looks and brushed his hand along the victim's hip and leg. The woman ran away when Lee then asked her to follow him to another location, according to the report. The arrest report also hints there are other victims but no details were disclosed, according to the reports.
The charges were filed in December, No other charges have been filed regarding possible other victims.
